Hearing loss doesn't just mean you can't hear something. Many people say "I can hear, I just can't understand." We Iowans engage in all sorts of activities that damage our ears. Farming, hunting, factory work, concerts, and moving our yards can cause is to lose some of our hearing. If we don't do these activities we can't get away from age and family history.
